The Top Ten Books of 2022, Pt 1

What a year for literature, folks. I don’t understand people who talk “the codex as a technology is exhausted” this and “we need new forms” that. I read so many bangers this year, I’ve had to split my list into multiple parts! Here, I list the top ten books that I read in 2022. They came out in other years besides 2022; that’s just when I read them. Is that not what that means?
