I cannot write about my own illness, mental or otherwise, without feeling like I have turned into Ignatius J. Reilly: “My pyloric valve!” Nevertheless, this week I got COVID, which has seemed like a normal cold but worse. Really, as far as that goes, I got lucky, as my case appears mild, however unpleasant.
